A Proven Leader at Every Level of Education
With 24 years of experience as an educator, and the last 18 years as a school administrator, I’ve had the privilege of leading schools at every level—elementary, middle, and high school. These diverse roles have shaped my approach to leadership, fostering growth in student achievement, school culture, and professional development.
Each experience has deepened my commitment to creating environments where both students and educators thrive.
Building Strong Cultures and Driving School Turnarounds
One of the most rewarding chapters of my career was leading the school improvement turnaround of HBE Elementary School, a PK-6 Title I school. Partnering with a dedicated staff, we created a school with a vibrant and supportive culture school that was recognized and celebrated for academic excellence. I carry this passion for school improvement in every leadership role, including my time as Principal of Greenwood Lake Middle School and Principal, Assistant Superintendent and Acting Superintendent in the Tuxedo UFSD.
Curriculum & Instruction Expertise
My leadership extends beyond administration into curriculum development and instructional innovation. I have oversaw the evaluation, piloting, adoption and implementation of curriculum and programs in literacy and math. At the secondary level, I have been involved in all facets of scheduling, course selection and course catalogue development.
Additionally, working with PLC Associates as a practitioner and consultant has enriched my ability to design and implement district-wide improvement plans and professional learning initiatives.
Passion for Coaching and Professional Development
Throughout my career, I’ve discovered a deep passion for mentoring and coaching educators. I’m committed to building strong teams, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement. Whether leading professional development at the district level, presenting at state conferences, or working with schools and leaders, I find fulfillment in helping others grow and succeed.
Beyond Education

Outside of my work as an educator, I cherish time with my family—exploring the outdoors through hiking, biking, skiing, and water sports. As a father of four, I understand the importance of balancing professional responsibilities with personal passions. This balance fuels my leadership, bringing energy, perspective, and compassion to everything I do.
